Christmas Is On It's Way & Vlogmas

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

There is only one more day until December and Vlogmas starts! For those of you who don't know, Vlogmas is when youtubers blog every day of December up until the 25! I myself will not be doing Vlogmas but I will be doing something I like to call Vlogsprings. For about a week (10 days) my family and myself are going to be travelling down to California over the holidays. Last year I attempted at Vlogsprings but ended up not posting anything or even vlogging for the last few days. This year, since I have official started my youtube channel, I have a plan to completely clog everything over those 10 days or so.

I haven't yet decided wether or not I will be vlogging a bit of the week before but I'm just in school that entire week so nothing exciting will really be happening that I can vlog. 

This year I have really been liking the traditional Christmas decorations. Whites, greens, reds and browns is the colour scheme I'm going for this year. 

I found the pictures above on google images and immediately thought of what I want to do this year. I especially like the woven wood strands reindeer. They're so cute!

Sometime very soon I will be doing a christmas DIY post about how I'm decorating this Christmas and how to add your own touch to Christmas decorations.

I'm really excited for Christmas this year and I can't wait for December to start!

I also want to mention that throughout me writing this entire post auto correct has been very annoying when I write anything starting with vlog. 

Top 3 of the Month - Blushers

This month I have decided to share with you my top three blushers that I have been loving a lot lately.

The first blusher is the Marcelle quad blush in the shade ultimate coral.Overall it is a great blusher and really goes on well. It has a really nice pigmented consistency and gives a nice healthy glow with all four shades combined. I would recommend using this particular shade during the summer rather than the winter (or if you are going somewhere where it is really hot and sunny) because it does have more of the bright summer corals over the lighter fall/winter pinks.

Next is the Maybelline New York Dream Bouncy Blush in the shade 15 called Rose Petal. It says "feels light weight like a powder, yet melts into skin like a cream". 

Personally I think there is no better way to describe this product. It is a really lovely shade of pink and I have been using this particular shade a lot lately. The consistency and pigmentation of this blush is really wonderful. I love it a whole lot. 

If you are looking for a less pricy option but still want the good quality of an expensive blush, I would definitely go for this one. I got this particular shade first a few months ago but I just seem to keep going back to it. This blush could be used all year round for me personally.

Last but certainly not least is the Rimmel London Match Perfection Blush. This is in the shade 001 Light. This pallet has "3 different coordinated blush shades + a hint of blue sapphire for a naturally even flush of colour". 

Basically I almost treat this blush like a loose powder and use it almost daily (if I am not using another blush). I find it gives me that hint of colour that I want/need but also helps me if I am having a shinier day. If I don't really want to wear to much blush for the day I with just dust a bit of this on and I find it gives me exactly what I need. 

This is the most recent blush I have bought, but I've found that I really love it! Rimmel London is an excellent brand and I absolutely love their products. This is the perfect blush for anyone who wants to have that matte skin look with a touch of colour. An amazing product that won't break the bank. 

I find that if you're on a budget Rimmel London products are often on sale every other week. If the specific product you want isn't on sale when you go to their stand, I normally just come back another day or check the fliers weekly to see when they go on sale. Almost every time I go to Shoppers (Drug Mart-Canadian drug store) at least a few of Rimmels blushers or powders are on sale.
